Multi Grain Bread Mix

Preparation: Pre heat oven to 200°C (fan forced) or 220°C (conventional oven). Grease tin or spray with vegetable oil. Place 290ml Water and 2 eggs in mixing bowl. Add 400gm of Multi Grain Mix. Using an electric mixer blend on slow speed for one minute. Scrape down side of bowl. Mix on medium speed for further 4 minutes. Pour batter into bread tin. For best results cover foil and bake for 30 minutes. Carefully remove foil and bake for further 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and leave bread to cool before slicing. 

 Serving Suggestions: Sprinkle mixed seeds on the top of the batter before baking. The bread can be toasted and served with butter or polyunsaturated margarine, cream cheese and jam.

 

Vanilla Cup Cake Mix


Preparation: Pre heat oven to 160°C (fan forced) or 180°C (conventional oven). Place patty cases in the cupcake tray. Add 2 eggs, 60g margarine and 160ml water to small mixing bowl then add cupcake mix. Mix slow speed for 1 min, scrape down side of bowl. Mix on medium for further 1 min. Put cupcake cases in muffin try and pour batter into individual cupcakes and bake for approx. 20-25 minutes. Cupcakes are baked if they bounce back when gently pressed at the peak. Remove cupcakes from oven and place them onto wire rack to cool. 

Frosting and sprinkles: Add icing sachet and 30mg melted margarine to small mixing bowl. Mix slow until blended uniformly. Using knife spread icing evenly on cupcakes. Place sprinkles on cupcakes for decoration. 

 

Banana Bread Mix with Real Banana

Preparation: Pre heat oven to. 160°C (fan forced) or 180°C (conventional oven). Grease tin or spray with vegetable oil. Place 170ml Water, 80gm Margarine or Butter  (melted) and 3 eggs in mixing bowl. Add 450gm of Banana Bread Mix. Fold by hand until better is uniform. Scrape down side of bowl. Pour batter into greased tin and bake for approx. 45-50 minutes. Remove from oven and leave to cool before slicing.

Serving Suggestions: for richer taste you may add chopped banana into the batter for a beautiful decoration add some slices of banana on the top of the batter. Add walnut for an added crunch. 

 

Chocolate Mud Cake Mix

Preparation: Pre heat oven to. 160°C (fan forced) or 180°C (conventional oven). Grease tin or spray with vegetable oil. Place 125ml Water, 125ml Oil, 2 eggs in mixing bowl. Add 450gm of Chocolate Mud Cake Mix. Fold mixture with wooden spoon. Scrape down side of bowl. Pour batter into greased cake tin and bake for approx. 45-50 minutes. Cake is baked if it bounces back when gently pressed at the peak of the cake. Remove from oven and leave in tin for 10 minutes before placing on wire rack to cool. 

Ganache topping: In sauce pan, heat 100ml of cream until boiling. Add packet of chocolate buttons and stir until pieces are blended. Let chocolate topping cool for 5 minutes then pour over cooled chocolate cake. Dip knife or spatula in warm water and smooth topping over cake. Serving Suggestions- add strawberries for a beautiful decoration.

Buttermilk Pancake Mix

Preparation: Shake bottle to loosen dry mix. Take off lid but don’t discard. Add 1 ¼ cups (280ml) of water or fill bottle with water to level indicated and replace lid. Shake bottle well for 1 minute. Remove lid to release pressure. Replace lid and shake for further 1 minute. Preheat frypan and grease well. Pour batter into frypan and cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. Turn over to cook the other side. Remove from pan. Makes 12x8 cm pancakes. 

Serving suggestions: serve with honey, jam, butter or maple syrup. 

 

Buckwheat Pancake Mix

Preparation: Shake bottle to loosen dry mix. Take off lid but don’t discard. Add 300ml of water or fill bottle with water to level indicated and replace lid. Shake bottle well for 1 minute. Remove lid to release pressure. Replace lid and shake for further 1 minute. Preheat frypan and grease well. Pour batter into frypan and cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. Turn over to cook the other side. Remove from pan. Makes 12x8 cm pancakes. 

Serving suggestions: serve with honey, maple syrup, fruit salad and ice cream.
