For Conventional Oven

Cocktail Size:

  1. Pre heat oven to 160C
  2. Place Frevos on a tray (no need to grease) and bake for approx. 5 to 7 minutes or until outside is slightly crusty.
  3. You may defrost Frevos for a few minutes before heating up (in this case, heat up for approx. 3 - 5 minutes).

Cafe Size:

  1. Follow the same instructions above. Heating time is approx. 8 - 10 minutes or less if product is already defrosted.

Pie Warmers:

  1. Frevos can be heated up in pie warmers much as meat pies. Depending on the temperature, it may take approx. 15 - 20 minutes (do not place Frevos on the 1st lower shelf in direct contact with heat).

Sandwich Makers:

  1. If you wish to use the Cafe size Frevos as a toasted sandwich: Defrost Frevos for approx. 10 minutes, slice Frevos and fill with your favourite fillings. Toast as normal bread.

Microwave:

  1. not advisable!! It makes Frevos go soggy and chewy. But if you want to have a go, let Frevos defrost for a few minutes and microwave on medium heat for 10 to 15 seconds.

Frevos may be eaten cold (just let it defrost for as long as necessary for it to come up to room temperature), but remember that the freshness is back with the heat!

For best results:

Use fan forced oven:

  1. Program timer for 5 minutes or check after 5 minutes of baking to see if it is ready.
  2. Frevos should get a fraction darker than what it is in frozen state (if too tanned, you've burnt them!)
  3. Serve whilst warm
